Photo Academy iPhone App featured by Apple

We had some great news today with Photo Academy being featured in the New & Noteworthy section of the App Store globally (...except US / AU).

Binary collaborated with Aspyre Apps to design Photo Academy, a comprehensive guide and tool set for digital photographers of all skill levels.

Hundreds of great apps are launched each week and to be noticed by the curators of the App Store is quite an honour. Congrats go out to the Asprye guys and fingers crossed the US / AU Stores will feature the app next week.

Great visual created by Cameron Adams, a Web Technologist in Sydney:

News: Are iOS apps more popular than 'American Idol'? (we wish)

Not one for loving mainstream TV, here's only hoping that this research is true:

"Games running on Apple's iOS are starting to match prime-time television shows in overall consumption, a new study from Flurry Analytics claims.

According to the research company, 19 million people currently spend an average of 22 minutes each day playing iOS games, or accessing social networks on their iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. That total number of users easily eclipses viewership of Sunday Night Football games, "Undercover Boss," and other top shows. It's also just 4 million viewers shy of top show "American Idol.""

Launched: Callan Park 'your plan'

On 25th May 2010 Leichhardt Council unanimously resolved to begin Master Planning for Callan Park. McGregor Coxall, well established urban designers and landscape architects, and a team of specialists will work with the community to develop the Master Plan for the entire Callan Park site.

Leichhardt Council’s brief to McGregor Coxall called for robust and ongoing community participation in the Master Planning process. The Callan Park ‘your plan’ website gives you a direct and significant role in decision making during this project.
